A successful second weekend at Midlands Championships

Well done to all who competed at the West Midlands Championships over the very hot bank holiday weekend: Joe Stratton, Finn Nicholl, Ben Scarrott, Arthur Mears, Calum Gorman, Stephen Stanley, Thando Hart, Guy Bayley, Zack Hancox, Brooke Frost, Charli Dunn, James Sutton and Simon Hadfield. More great swims and many PBs.

Congratulations once again to Finn Nicholl, who won the 200m freestyle, 100m butterfly, 50m freestyle and 50m butterfly.

Joe Stratton won silver in the 1500m freestyle, and Simon Hadfield won bronze in the 50m backstroke.

The following swimmers swam in finals: Joe Stratton ( 100m breaststroke, 200m breaststroke, 50m breaststroke), Ben Scarrott (100m breaststroke, 200m breaststroke), Arthur Mears (200m backstroke, 50m backstroke), Thando Hart (50m breaststroke, 50m freestyle), Stephen Stanley (100m breaststroke,200m breaststroke).
